  • Join BCBSAL Kids Marathon for our FIRST EVER Opening Ceremony: Saturday, January 21, 2026 • Spain Park High School • 9:45am

    Celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States as we kick off the 25th Kids Marathon!

    Features include the Presentation of Colors, National Anthem, Patriot Parade, t-shirt design contestants, community leaders, special guests, tons of MASCOTS and more!

  • 10:30am - 5TH GRADE - NO PARENTS

    10:40am - 4TH GRADE – NO PARENTS

    10:50am - 3RD GRADE – NO PARENTS

    11:00am - 2ND GRADE – NO PARENTS

    11:10am - 1ST GRADE – NO PARENTS

    11:20am - KINDERGARTEN – NO PARENTS

    11:30pm - ALL KIDS RUNNING WITH REGISTERED PARENTS (ALL GRADES)

  • Late registrants and individuals not enrolled under a recognized participating school can pick up race bags on Friday, February 20th at the Trak Shak Homewood location from 1pm - 6pm or on race day Saturday, February 21st at the inflatable Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama tent in the start corral at Spain Park High School.

    This event is rain or shine. In the event of dangerous conditions Kids Marathon will be delayed or cancelled.

    Ample parking and bathrooms! Port-a-lets available in the parking lot at the start corral entrance. Stadium restrooms available on the home side. Click here for course map.
